I've created this list of things that I want to do over the next 5 years and I want to try my best to make sure I make all of my plans come to fruition (That's my word for today.) Last night a friend and I were talking about what we plan to do in the next five years and I figure I'd write them down here on this here blog so I can keep up with them.
* On my 30th Birthday I'd like to spend my Birthday in Paris, France. People are welcome to come along with me, but I've been saying for so long that I want to do something BIG when I hit 30…I've got awhile..I'm only 27, but I want to go ahead and figure it out now and spare on expense on this trip.
* I'd like to find a guy that loves to read, write, travel and enjoys the arts as much as I do and have long meaningful conversations about art and whatever. I'd like to find a guy that can put up with my zany personality, but can also put me in my place when I'm wrong. I love to be right about EVERYTHING, but I do really get a kick out of good argument even when I know I'm dead wrong on the subject matter. I'd like to meet a guy who I can fully support in all of his goals and vice versa. Someone I can come home to after a long day and I can just hold them in my arms and recount the days events. (You see I put him in my five year plan because I know that the things I want out of guy take time and it's all trial and error.) I just want to meet a guy that where's his heart on his sleeve just like I do.
* I WANT/WILL have a Tony Award for Best Actor in A Play….need I say more?
* I'd like to also while keeping my passion in theatre get my another degree in Entertainment Law from NYU.
* I want to travel to South Africa.
* I want to own 3 tailored suits built for me and designed by me.
* I want to own a brand new car
* Open up my own Gym that caters to artist and their families (10 year plan)
With all of these things in mind I don't think I'm asking for too much, right? Haha I'm not really a complex guy! I dream big and whenever I dream big I always succeed in getting what I want.
Cheers to the next 5 years!
Well g2g

I'll Close My Tab.
I'm writing this at 1:37 in the a.m.
I swear I learn something new everyday about myself or I learn how to deal with things. I guess that's what this new journey for me is all about.
Tonight after work I was supposed to have a good night with friends. I was all for it in the beginning and I wanted to hangout with people and for an hour or so I was all about it. We went out to Barrage to catch the happy hour and I had my usual, a gin and tonic. I think my co-workers sitting next to me could tell that I wasn't really feeling as festive as I was trying to be. I started drifting off into my own thoughts tonight. I needed an escape. Tonight I wanted to be left alone in my own thoughts tonight. These are the kind of nights where if I were back home I'd just hop in my car and just drive and listen to music till I was tired and stop in a Huddle House and have breakfast and go back to my place and fall asleep. Alas I can't do that here at the moment because my car isn't here with me. Anyway, I had double booked myself with friends anyway and I ended up going to Queens and hanging out with a friend and being coaxed into going somewhere I'd never in all my time here in this city thought I'd going…We ended up going to Elmhurst and grabbing food at a Malaysian Restaurant. You know I really needed to explore all of NYC and it's nooks and crannies. Elmhurst is full of Asian culture everywhere…and more "authentic" asian food than in Hell's Kitchen. We ended up talking about everything under the sun until my friend looked down at his phone and as we looked around we were the last two in the place. We got our things and we left..and we walked all the way back up towards Queen's Boulevard.
We ended back up at his place where he has an awesome view of Burger King, and a strip club from his high rise apartment. Now this is where class began. I like to ask many questions when I'm learning something new. We talked about long-term relationships and how they work. I don't know why I was so comfortable talking to him about the longest relationship and the demise of that relationship, but it was almost as if by me actually talking about what happened I was beginning to heal. I learned about how He and his partner have made things work and the non-negotiables in there relationship. I was completely fascinated by all of this and everything he had to say. I could go on and on about what we talked about, but I think that's really for me to know and keep for myself as little reminders, but the one thing I really took from our conversation tonight was that everyone's love is different, everyone's relationships are different and seeking out "perfection" in a relationship isn't the way to go. I've got to accept them flaws and all and they the same. #truth.
I'll close my tab now I'm fully drunk on a bottle of "Life Lessons." I've got to learn how to trust again. I guess I have huge trust issues just because of what I've been through in the past and I'm afraid of being hurt again and vice versa. This is part of my breaking down my walls and just going with the flow of life.
I'm on little social media break right now in an effort to regain my own personal life some. I feel like I put too much of my emotions out there for the general public to see whether it's on Facebook of Twitter. and that's not the person I am or want to be. I do like to keep and air of mystery about myself. I'll return to my social media outlets someday, when I'm ready, but right now I just want to really put a effort in on working solely on me. This blog is partially and open window to me, but to really know me is make a true effort to get to know me.
My diet is still going strong and I'm headed down the right path. I'm going to do something pretty neat in the coming months with myself and I can't wait to reveal just what that is. Be patient with me…Stay tuned…you ain't seen nothing yet! ;)

I'm Just A Leaf That's Trying To Become Something Else.
So I had every intention to blog last night, but I was way too tired to do so.
Yesterday was actually a really nice relaxing day. A much needed one if you ask me. I got to spend a quiet afternoon with three of my closest friends here, Jordan, Logan, and Lindsey! What's a good day with Mimosas and several episodes and of "Drag Race" and just laughing with your friends? I call it a successful "President's Day!"
I can't really put into words the feeling I felt yesterday. It was like this calmness that I've been searching for finally came over me. I rehearsed super early in the a.m. and around noon I took my friend Maria's advice and thought at the box and went and had coffee with a new friend and then met up with my best friends here in this amazing city and it was just a wonderful day.
I'm starting to figure out what I want more out of my life. Yesterday was a day for me to r-e-l-a-x. I didn't answer many text and I just wanted to be in the moment with the people around me. I've been having some amazing talks with my co-worker Maria and she's been really helping me put a lot of things in perspective. I'm trying to grow-up, become a better man, and become a better me. I think my last night after our talk after work saw the shedding of my old self and the beginning of someone whose ready to go to do something else with my life. I don't think you'll be finding me at the club's that much anymore. To be completely honest..I'm so awkward at the clubs. I'm at my socially best at a lounge, or at a chill bar with some really good R&B music or Jazz. Now I'm not knocking the club scene at all, and I've had a great time at some of them, but I'm thinking out of the box and I want to attract the type of friends, or man that I can vibe with. Lately I've cut my drinking back a lot because of the diet I'm on. I'm sticking to Wine, and Gin for awhile. My tolerance for alcohol has lowered itself too. After two drink I've found myself throwing the towel in. By the second drink I know I'm in a good spot and I like to stay there the rest of the night.
I've come to realize that I'm chill and sophisticated guy. I'm not Cinderella and I don't want Prince Charming to come and swoop me off my feet. I'm really Prince Charming and I want to swoop the other guy of his feet. I've always been like that and when I moved here to NYC I feel like I lost a bit of it because I was wanting to be wild and crazy. I don't know what it is but since going back home and coming back here to NYC I feel like I've regained my composure and who I am and realizing I don't have to change just because I live in a different city. I don't have to fall into a stereotype at all. I can continue to conduct myself as a Southern Gentleman and not loose any sense of myself at all. What's a "Southern Boy to do" right? LOL
At this moment I'm grateful for my friends that really have been a positive influence in my life. They keep me grounded and keep me sane. I'm just so much more happier right now. It feels good to be regaining my sense of self. Change don't come easy. That Madea quote is ringing true for me right now.
"Some people are meant to come into your life for a lifetime, some for only a season and you got to know which is which. And you're always messing up when you mix those seasonal people up with lifetime expectations.
I put everybody that comes into my life in the category of a tree. Some people are like leaves on a tree. When the wind blows, they're over there... wind blow that way they over here... they're unstable. When the seasons change they wither and die, they're gone. That's alright. Most people are like that, they're not there to do anything but take from the tree and give shade every now and then. That's all they can do. But don't get mad at people like that, that's who they are. That's all they were put on this earth to be. A leaf.
Some people are like a branch on that tree. You have to be careful with those branches too, cause they'll fool you. They'll make you think they're a good friend and they're real strong but the minute you step out there on them, they'll break and leave you high and dry.
But if you find 2 or 3 people in your life that's like the roots at the bottom of that tree you are blessed. Those are the kind of people that aren't going nowhere. They aren't worried about being seen, nobody has to know that they know you, they don't have to know what they're doing for you but if those roots weren't there, that tree couldn't live.
A tree could have a hundred million branches but it only takes a few roots down at the bottom to make sure that tree gets everything it needs. When you get some roots, hold on to them but the rest of it... just let it go." -Madea
I'm on my way to becoming a tree!
Well that's it for me!

Compliment from A Porn Star (This Blog is NOT for the Children..you've been warned)
I've been back in the city for about two weeks now.
The moment I stepped off the plane and I saw snow I really wanted to punch the weather in the face. Let me be frank…I hate New York snow. It only looks pretty the moment it falls and then a hour later it's brown and yellow from animals and humans. I'd really like to see this weather turn around soon. I this is my least favorite season in the city.
Well it's back to the grind. I went in for my callback earlier last week and I should be hearing back pretty soon. They even followed me on Twitter the other day so I'm wondering if they are checking me out social media wise too? If so it's all fine with me. I've got nothing to hide and I keep it pretty Pg-13 on all my social media stuff. I feel like I've come back home really refreshed and with a more positive attitude on a lot of things. If there is one thing I'm pretty known for it's my resilience to a lot of things. Before I left I went in on someone via text because I was sick and tired of everything that was going on. The next morning I re-read over some of what I sent and I really felt bad about it, but I think it was time to get at least some of what was going on off of my chest and even when I look back now I don't feel like I should feel bad about it. It's partially what I had to say and how I felt. I went home to get my balls back and I did. I just laughed at that! :) balls… hahah. What the future holds with that entire situation I really have no idea and it's really been on the back burner for me because I've gotten really busy with finding out what's the next route with me in life.
Believe it or not I'm still in my 20's and I've got a lot of magic still to do before I even see 30. I've just been thinking about what's best for Tyree right now and it's something I haven't done in a long time. I do for others a lot and sometimes I end up empty handed and it's time too turn that all around. I want to get my career back on track, and for all of you who don't know I'm going back to school in the fall or spring for either Law School or Secondary Education. While I was at home my parents took me out to eat and we talked about the possibilities of me going back to college to just have something else to fall back on. I don't want to be serving, counting someone else's money, or bar tending for the rest of my life. I know there's more to my life than that. My three main schools I have my eyes on are NYU Law School, Columbia Teachers College, and Brooklyn College. I've already scheduled a campus tour with Brooklyn College because it reminds me of Montevallo in the academic area. Parents are very involved with this and I actually like it, lets them be apart of my life although they are over 800 miles aways.
I've started back dieting…Oh they whoas of being a Gay man living in the city! Yeah, I'm on a low-carb diet that I've got to stick with till May. So far I've lost about 9 lbs, so I'm pretty satisfied right now. I've been doing a new workout routine that I like and so far my abs have hurt everyday. I don't want to give too much detail into what I'm doing just because I'm doing a "top secret" project and I can't really say anything till I'm done.
I go to the gym a lot. If anyone was to ask any of my friends where I am they would probably tell you "He's at the gym!" This is so true about me. I go to a new gym that recently opened and it has many different people that come through there and the other day was Chest day and let me say that I honestly don't go to my gym to check out other guys. I might glance or try to see what someone else is doing so I can try whatever they are doing later on myself, but the other day takes the cake. I was minding my business at bench press and this guy walks over to me while I'm working out and is just smiling. Now I will say I knew who this guy was because to be honest I might have seen him in some of the porn I've masturbated too. (I warned you.) I sit up and I kinda acknowledge him because I'm not a rude person so I nod and smile back and ask if he wants to use the bench. He says no and then says "I've been watching you for awhile now, you're getting lean." I said "Thanks" and was about to go back to working out and he said "I wonder what it would be like to wrestle with you under the sheets." BOOM!!! My mind goes blank, I give a blank stare, I felt like everybody in the gym heard him say that and I didn't even know the type of response that I should give to that. He looks at me and says "What? Can't take a compliment? You're hot dude get with it!" He smiles and walks off and I stand there looking like fool like someone had gave me some bad news. Afterwards it did make think that I should start being more appreciative and take compliments as they come and not be so shocked by them. I think this was due to the fact this was someone I know from a far..as in on porn websites, NYC events and parties around the city.
On that note I guess we can talk about where I'm at in relationships. Relationship is a very big word I've learned recently and I find myself learning what the meaning of that is. I've also learned that I don't know how to just "go on dates" with people. I generally rush things because I'm so use to being in a relationship and that's what I'm use too. I won't go into detail about my trials and tribulations of being in relationships because that's the past and it's going to stay there. Moving FORWARD, but I will let you all in on this. A lot of my friends are boo'ed up with people and I find myself not in the least bit envious at all. But right now I'm very to myself, I can be very picky, but at the same time I'm very patient with waiting on the universe with whatever it has for me and I will wait on that! Whether I'm dating someone and that blossoms into something more then that's AMAZING. If not it's a lesson learned. Reasons and Seasons. I stay doing things in my job and my career, and I'm trying to grow in my career and as person so that I really can be the best man for someone out there and in turn they be the best man for me. I've always said I'm not the type of guy who needs the attention from others by saying "I'm single" or "I'm lonely and I need a man." The thirst here in NYC is alive and well and the pickings are great, but I'm taking the time to take care of Tyree first and foremost. I feel like when someone notices that you aren't thirsty like the rest, or they notice that you are concentrating on you and they respect that, then that's the type of guy I want to be with. I'll be good to you if you're good to me. Until then it's continued growth for me as a person.
Well my hands are tired…hope you enjoyed!
PEACE, LOVE AND LIGHT!
P.S. Remember to share your light! ;)

P.S. Remember to share your light! ;)
